Beacon Global Visa Consultants ("we," "us," or "our") operates the StudyCards mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
StudyCards is a 100% offline educational reference app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. The App has no backend server, no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking software of any kind.
We do not collect any information about you. Specifically:
No personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.) is requested or collected.
No device identifiers, location data, or usage analytics are collected.
No cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies are used.
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
The App uses your device's local storage (SharedPreferences) to save the following, entirely on your device:
Your favorite topics
Your selected theme (Light/Dark/Auto)
Recently viewed topics
A local counter of topics you have viewed (used to show your progress)
This information stays on your device at all times. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is automatically removed if you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. You can also clear it at any time using the "Reset Progress" option in the App's Settings.
StudyCards does not request any runtime permissions. The App does not request internet access in its released version, and it does not connect to the internet, any server, or any third-party service.
The App does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, including advertising networks, analytics providers, or crash-reporting tools.
Since the App does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
