The idea originated by Ezz brothers (Ahmed and Mustafa) in 2006, they loved the Egyptian oriental music, Classical music and Old's music, so they decided to learn more about that kinds of music....they joined many vocal workshops in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, where they got to know more about other types of music, they were very fond of the old type.

They chose the name "ZAMAN" for the band, referring to the style of music they are playing and singing....like (Blues, Soft Jazz, Old's Rock & Roll, Pop country, Reggae…and more).
