Biography

The Percussion Show is a group of Egyptian percussionists who play different types of percussion (African, Latin, Oriental) The name is invented by ''Ousso“ who's a famous guitarist in Egypt and worldwide, started their 1st concert in 2008 then widely spreaded out and played in different events and famous pubs in Egypt.

The show mainly depends on percussion and beats, and own composed playback music are added in some tracks, also percussive vocals with the beats.

In 2012, they started their new project “The Body Percussion” in co-operation with “Mohammed Shafik” (Choreographer). Only used their bodies to make peaces of percussive tracks.

Our first video clip was released in Oct. 2012 for the body percussion and had an amazing online feedback.

To be mentioned also, our biggest achievement in 2010 is winning ''The Production Awards Program for Young Creative Arab Artists" form Culture Resource (Al Mawred Al Thaqafy) for a performance of mixing live percussion and playback tracks with Capoeira dancers on one stage.

The Team is looking forward to work on a new tracks to merge there instruments with the body percussion and new videos will be released very soon.
