Amal is vocalist and song writer and currently works as a Project Coordinator at the A.M. Qattan Foundation. She is also a newspaper illustrator and cartoonist.

Amal is a cartoonist and has been illustrating for As-Safir newspaper and several other publications since 2005. She is also a vocalist and song writer, performing with artists from across the world including Lebanon, Egypt and Denmark. She currently works as a coordinator with the A.M. Qattan Foundation, helping facilitate their first project in Lebanon SELAT: Links through the Arts, which was launched in 2012.
