Emily Jade Winters was inaugurated as the Sheriff of Blaine County on 3/21/2022. She is also one of the youngest Sheriffs in the country at only 29 years old.
In 2013, she received a Bachelors Degree in Public Justice while attending college at the University of Liberty City. She joined the Sheriff's Office in a neighboring state, where she began her law enforcement career as a Deputy and climbed up to become the Captain of their Field Training Program. After revitalizing their training, she was appointed to High Command and finished out as Undersheriff before leaving the department.
Upon moving back to San Andreas -- and noticing that the Blaine County Sheriff's Office had gone completely defunct -- she became the "founding" Sheriff of the current B.C.S.O. after being appointed in a special election. Since beginning her term, she has completely revitalized the department from the ground-up with her vision, passion, and dedication to protecting and serving the public.
On 10/14/22, Sheriff Winters was nominated as the Chairwoman of the National Sheriff's Association's San Andreas Chapter, representing BCSO as well as Grapeseed Sheriff's Office, and the Los Santos Sheriff's Department under Sheriff Biscuit.
Benjamin Dover grew up in a small New England town on East Coast, eventually graduating high school and moving to Liberty City where he attended the University of Liberty. There, he spent several years majoring in criminal justice; an interest he undertook inspired by his uncle Ben Dover (whom he is named after). His uncle was an Assistant Director of Field Operations for the Department of Justice in his heyday, which led to Mr. Dover aspiring to follow in his footsteps.
Mr. Dover, having since moved to San Andreas in past years, recently completed his Masters Degree remotely while also fulfilling his duties in the Blaine County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Dover admittedly had a rough start in the department -- in his own words, this was "[his] first job in law enforcement." He began as a Deputy Trainee, initially failing to complete his training within the probationary period and being subsequently terminated.
Luckily, Ben Dover was given a second chance. He completed his training and graduated from the Field Training program with flying colors, quickly climbing the ranks through his own tenacity to the rank of Captain where he served as the lead of the Special Response Team. Leading his team toward success, he now serves the department at large as the 6th Undersheriff of the Winters' Administration.
Justin Desjardins comes to us hailing from Liberty City where he grew up in a Law Enforcement-centric household. He is third generation Law Enforcement, with his father and grandfather serving their local police forces before him. Justin attended Liberty State Community College studying criminal justice, graduating with a Bachelor's degree.
Upon graduating he followed his family's footsteps by initially joining the Liberty City Police Department. He served in LCPD for 5 years until his older brother Christian Desjardins, a former deputy of the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, convinced him to move to Paleto Bay and continue his career in San Andreas. Unfortunately, Christian Desjardin was shortly thereafter killed in the line of duty. Justin joined BCSO to continue his brother's legacy.
Justin laterally transferred from LCPD to BCSO as a Staff Sergeant, immediately joining the Major Crimes Division under former Captain Jamie Pseudo. He greatly excelled at his work as a detective, and climbed to become an Assistant Lead. Eventually, he took over the Major Crimes Division and brought his team to fantastic new heights, sealing their status as the foremost detective agency in the state. As of 11/27/22, Mr. Desjardins was promoted to the rank of Assistant Sheriff where he now continues to serve his department and the public of Blaine County.
