Charles and Sarah with Casey (Grade 3), David (Grade 1), and Jesse | Homeschooling Since 2020

The Gerada Family started homeschooling when Casey was in Grade 1, David at 4, and Jesse, a few months old. They persevered through their 2nd year with Casey in Grade 2, David in Kinder, and Jesse at 1. Third year of homeschooling is up ahead with 2 kids in elementary and the youngest in his toddler years. Their dependence on the Lord is steady, their joy is full, and their kids are bursting with creative expressions and relevant applications of their learning.

"We homeschool to obey God's mandate (Deuteronomy 6:7) to be our children's primary educators. We also want to be their main influencers, actively involved in their upbringing, especially during their formative years. Also, one of the many significant benefits of homeschooling is the ability to tailor their lessons to their individual needs and abilities. Plus, we enjoy unlimited field trips!"
