Rey and Bailey with Aundreina (Grade 9) and Aundrey (Grade 11) | Homeschooling Since 2021
For the Dava family, homeschooling has allowed them to strengthen their family bond, not only through their time spent being with one another, but through their time spent talking about God and growing in the faith.
"Homeschooling has helped us become closer in so many ways. Our work schedules align with theirs, which means we prepare and eat meals together, and get to do other things on the side. On some days we do errands on weekdays together; sometimes, we’re blessed to be able to travel. Recently, we get to do things that support the kids’ dreams too: building a bicycle for Aundrey and going to studios for dance trainings for Aundreina. Most of all, it allowed us to have more time together that let us experience God’s blessings and talk about building our faith.
These pictures are from our travels - in the car on the way to support Aundreina’s dream of becoming a pop idol, travels here and abroad (we love to explore new places but also love to keep coming back to Boracay), roadtrips to Baguio, Tagaytay, Laguna, watched a drag race in Clark, and more."
For Aundrey and Aundreina, they wake up at 8 in the morning to get ready for the day before studying at 9. They prefer prioritizing the completion of their studies to give way for personal things in the afternoon.
