THE FUTURE OF BC HEALTH CARE IS AT STAKE...
Mandates that prevent skilled doctors, midwives, nurse practitioners, and nurses from working in their needed and essential roles in healthcare affects all residents of British Columbia.
Our systems have been in crisis long before 2020. British Columbia has grossly underfunded and cut corners wherever possible straining the health care system for decades. The loss of thousands of health care workers has only exacerbated our problems and put us on the brink of collapse.
Please join us - British Columbia's Nurses, Midwives, and Nurse Practitioners - as we stand up to save our jobs and the health care system. We need all of our skilled workers in this province caring for our communities.

A joint project of BC Healthcare Heroes and our partners CSSEM. In this video we share personal stories on how Provincial Health Orders have affected us.
Bill 36 is a dangerous power grab at the hands of the BC NDP. Rushed through with little time for debate and full diclosure of over 600 different articles, it will single-handedly deteriorate the quality of healthcare delivery in British Columbia. It will cause deleterious, catastrophic, and irreparable consequences to the healthcare system and our patients.
Please use the provided template to ask your friends, family and colleagues to sign in support of repealing the act.
It is of the utmost importance to follow the directions in the second document. Petitions in British Columbia must follow strict rules in order to be brought before the legislature. While you may not agree with all points or wording, this template was given preliminary review to be our best chance. Do not alter signature sheets in any way, simply print and fill! Remember, all sections must be filled in by the signer. There is no age limit to sign, being able to write is the only requirement.
Please mail complete and any partial sheets to the address provided by February 2023. With your help we can get to 50,000 signatures. Thanks for your support!
Who is CSSEM and why are we talking about them? They are our physician colleagues who are taking the same stand for bodily autonomy and medical ethics. Together, doctors & nurses have put forward a petition for a judicial review against the province.
Together we are many voices united against common goals:
✓ Protection of medical privacy
✓ Reinstating health care workers
Together we will see all skilled healthcare professionals back to the workforce. At the very least we won't go down without a fight.
