Last March, while harpist Lily Neill was dazzling the Common House Concert audience with her virtuosic harp playing, her husband Clive was on "dad duty" looking after their two young children, who were accompanying them on their tour. Unbeknownst to us (well, to me anyhow), lurking beneath Clive's humble, I'm-just-a-regular-guy exterior was a world-class finger-style guitar player who has toured and worked with guitar greats John Williams, Tommy Emmanuel, Xuefei Yang, Ralph Towner and John Renbourn, as well as the pop icon Madonna (I'd like to hear that story).
This time around, Clive gets the spotlight while Lily gets the kids. HA!
