Clive Carroll

Last March, while harpist Lily Neill was dazzling the Common House Concert audience with her virtuosic harp playing, her husband Clive played support staff —  doing all the things that loving spouses do to give their partners time and space to shine. Unbeknownst to us (well, to me anyhow), lurking beneath Clive's humble, I'm-just-a-regular-guy exterior was a world-class finger-style guitar player who has toured and worked with guitar greats John Williams, Tommy Emmanuel, Xuefei Yang, Ralph Towner and John Renbourn, as well as the pop icon Madonna (I'd like to hear that story).

This time around, it's Clive's turn to shine. And boy, does he ever!
