Jesse Terry is one of those fully committed, "music-is-what-I-do" kinds of guys who tours relentlessly and sings and plays his heart out at each and every show. He's also probably the best singer-songwriter you've never heard of, with a musician's ear for a great melody and a poet's gift for a terrific lyric.
This will be Jesse's second appearance at Common House Concerts. The videos demonstrate his talent, but they can't really convey what made his first show here so special — Jesse's warmth, humor, humility, and genuine humanity established an instant and easy rapport with his audience that is extraordinarily rare. Everyone in the room became Jesse Terry fans that evening.
I know you will, too.

Jesse plays around 150 shows a year, from Bonnaroo to the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the 30A Songwriters Festival to AmericanaFest. He earned a degree from Berklee College of Music, netted a five-year staff writer gig on Nashville's Music Row penning material for major TV networks, and won prestigious songwriting awards before becoming the touring artist his fans know today, who (in the words of Music News Nashville) "bring[s] to mind iconic artist/poets like Paul Simon and Jackson Browne... [with] a performance that touches the heart like only a whisper can."
