Annalise Emerick is the second artist to come to us via the Concerts In Your Home network. Fans of Brandi Carlisle, Patty Griffin, and Eva Cassidy will appreciate her literate approach to songwriting and her smooth-as-silk style.
Annalise Emerick has been on the road virtually non-stop for six years, playing 150+ shows every year. Choosing to leave behind any semblance of a normal life for the day-to-day adventures of a traveling independent musician was always a no-brainer for this self-starting, twenty-something singer-songwriter.
In 2011, she released her first project, Starry-Eyed, to heavy critical acclaim after it debuted at #9 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart. Three years later Emerick returned with Field Notes, a folk-inspired, markedly more mature turn that demonstrated just how much her endless days on the road and years of hard work have fostered her growth as an artist and performer.
In 2015, she won the Wildflower Festival singer/songwriter contest in Richardson, Texas, opened for Gregory Alan Isakov at a sold out show at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado and completed a European tour. In 2016, she was selected as a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival.
