This privacy policy applies to the GlowCam: AI Face & Beauty Cam app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by BETUL CAN (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
The total time spent in the Application
The operating system you use on your mobile device
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
We collect photos of your face only when you explicitly take or upload them from your camera or photo library in order to use the app’s analysis and virtual makeup features.We do not collect:
Biometric identifiers (such as face templates or fingerprints)
Video recordings or continuous camera streams
Facial recognition data for identity verification
Your facial images are used exclusively to provide you with:
Virtual makeup try‑on experiences (different looks, styles, and intensities)
Optional saving of your before/after results to your in‑app archive so you can revisit and manage your looks
All analysis and image processing are performed only to generate personalized beauty results inside the app.Your images are not used for identity recognition, advertising, or sold to third parties, and are not used for any purpose unrelated to providing the app’s core beauty and styling features.
To perform virtual makeup processing, image data is transmitted securely to our third‑party service providers:
Fal.ai API
Purpose: AI‑based virtual makeup processing (applying different makeup styles and intensities to your photos).
Data sent: The facial images you upload for makeup application.
Imgur Image Hosting
Purpose: Temporary image hosting to provide a public image URL required by the Fal.ai API.
Data sent: The facial images you upload for makeup application, hosted temporarily as an image URL.
For our AI stylist chat feature:
Google Gemini API (Google Generative AI)
Purpose: Text‑based AI stylist chat that gives cosmetic makeup advice only.
Data sent: Text messages only (your chat messages and conversation history).
Facial images are not sent to Google Gemini.
We do not share your facial data with any other third parties for marketing or any other unrelated purposes.
The images sent to the Fal.ai API are processed to generate virtual makeup results.According to Fal.ai’s data handling practices (as described in their public documentation):
Storage: Fal.ai processes the images to generate the requested result; images are typically handled temporarily for processing.
Usage by Third Party: Fal.ai processes images only to provide the requested service and does not use your images for other purposes without explicit consent.
Retention Period: Processed images are retained only for the duration necessary to provide the service.

The images sent to Imgur are hosted as temporary image URLs required by the Fal.ai API.
Storage: Images are stored on Imgur’s servers as public or unlisted URLs.
Usage by Third Party: Imgur hosts the images as provided; usage is governed by Imgur’s own terms and privacy policy.
Retention Period: Images may be retained by Imgur according to their own policies.

For the AI stylist chat feature:
Data sent: Only text (your chat messages).
No facial images are sent to Google Gemini.
Storage and retention: Text content may be temporarily stored by Google according to their API data and safety policies. We have not opted in to allow Google to use your content to train their models beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

Images and results are stored locally on your device in the app’s archive/history for your convenience.
The Service Provider does not store your facial images on their own servers.
You have full control to delete these records at any time within the app by deleting items from the archive.
Before any personal data is sent to third‑party AI services, the Application will:
- Clearly inform you **what data will be sent** (e.g., your selected face photo or the text you type in the chat)
- Clearly identify **who the data is sent to** (e.g., Fal.ai, Imgur, Google Gemini)
- Ask for your **explicit permission inside the app** before sending this data for the first time
- Remember your choice on your device so you are not prompted again unless you reinstall the app or reset the app data
If you choose not to allow this data sharing, the corresponding AI feature (virtual makeup processing or AI Stylist chat) will not be used and your data will not be sent to those third‑party AI services.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and their service.Please note that the Application utilizes third‑party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are examples of third‑party service providers used by the Application:
AdMob – for advertising (if enabled in the app)
RevenueCat – for managing in‑app subscriptions and purchases
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at bet3lcan@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (bet3lcan@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.This privacy policy is effective as of 2026‑02‑09.
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
