This Privacy Policy describes how the BBL Squadpedia mobile application (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
### 1. Information We Collect
- **Information you provide:** The App does not require you to create an account or submit personal information.
- **Automatically collected information:** The App itself does not log or store personal data. Device information (such as device model, OS version, ad identifier, IP address) may be collected automatically by Google Mobile Ads for ad delivery and measurement.
- **Network requests:** When you view player images or team logos, the App requests media from Wikipedia and related image CDNs. These services receive the image request (including IP address and requested resource).
### 2. How We Use Information
- Provide team rosters, player profiles, and images.
- Display interstitial advertisements to support development.
- Improve stability and performance (e.g., logging ad-load failures).
### 3. Third-Party Services
- **Google Mobile Ads SDK:** Provides advertising and may collect device identifiers, IP address, usage data, and estimate demographic information. See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob’s data usage for details and opt-out options.
- **Wikipedia / Wikimedia image services:** Deliver team logos and player images; requests may include the player name and your IP address. Wikimedia’s privacy statement covers their handling of this data.
- **Image placeholders (via.placeholder.com):** Serves fallback images when no player image is available; the service receives your IP address and user-agent.
### 4. Data Retention
The App does not store personal data on our servers. Any data handled by third-party services is subject to their retention policies.
### 5. Data Security
Because we do not collect or store personal data, our security measures focus on keeping the App codebase up to date and limiting external network calls to trusted sources. Third-party partners follow their own security practices.
### 6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can remove it or assist with opt-out mechanisms offered by our partners.
### 7. Your Choices
- You can disable personalized advertising through your device settings (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS, “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android). Ads may still appear but will be less tailored.
- You may uninstall the App to stop all data collection by the App.
### 8. International Users
Third-party partners (Google, Wikimedia) may process data on servers located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to this processing.
### 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy in the App or accompanying materials with the new “Last updated” date.
### 10. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or requests regarding your data, please contact us at mskvk9@gmail.com.
