Concerned Families of Brecksville Broadview Heights School District have proposed a socially distanced gathering on Monday, August 3 from 5 - 7pm to have their voices heard.
If you are a district family member, student or staff member who wishes to have in-school instruction at the start of school along with ALL fall activities, we encourage you to come wearing your mask, a good attitude and your best Bees gear. Thoughtful and respectful signs of support are also welcome.
This event is not school sponsored. It is a community advocacy group who solely wants our voices to be heard in the support of the district survey. If you wish to have online instruction, please stay home and enroll your child in online courses. We encourage you to voice your concerns at another time.
Sign the Good Citizens Pledge!
We are asking all families to have their students sign the Good Citizen Pledge. Parents can also sign the pledge that we will do our part to keep our Brecksville Broadview Heights community well. This will demonstrate our commitment to health and wellness.
Sign the pledge, show your support for wellness for all!
To attend the gathering, you must:
Wear a mask. This isn’t up for debate. No mask, stay home.
Keep 6 feet away from each other. This includes your students who will be coming as well.
Be respectful at all times.
We must be on our best behavior.
The event is from 5 - 7pm.
Please park in the Middle School parking lot.
At 5pm, please line the street from Mill Rd to the BOE with your signs so BOE members can see you as they come to the meeting.
At 5:30, we will gather at the BOE to hear from speakers.
At 6:30, the BOE meeting is supposed to be live via Youtube.
Meet at the Board of Education
We encourage students, family members, community leaders and staff to speak. To speak at the event, simply email Melanie Kirin @ firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday at 12pm.
This is a rain or shine event. So bring your umbrella in case of rain. Don’t let the threat of rain prevent your voice from being heard.
Additionally, we are asking all families to have their students sign the Good Citizen Pledge. Parents can also sign the pledge that we will do our part to keep our Brecksville Broadview Heights community well. This will demonstrate our commitment to health and wellness.

So much has divided our communities this summer. Let’s bring it back together for the sake of our children and for our families.
