Lunar Valley is a 3D narrative based puzzle fantasy game. You, the player, play as Ito, a cute innocent alien from a distant land, who wakes up with amnesia in a tiny village. Talk to villagers, collect items and complete quests as you learn about the village and help residents with tonight's festival! Before night falls... prepare for the celebration, your sacrifice. Wake up again at the start of that same day, figure the way out or be sacrificed over and over again, every night.

This Game was made for AIE's 2021 Major Production Project, the final project before graduation! We were put in teams of around 10 people and had an advisor look after us as we created a game in 4 months time. My Team had 3 Designers, 5 Artists and 2 programmers. Together, after learning what type of game we would all like to work on, we created Lunar Valley as a concept and would continue to expand and polish it until it's due date. Check out the Google Slides for more info!
After creating the main idea for our game, I went to work as the Art Director. I firstly needed to analyze all of the artist's strengths and brain storm with them what art style we wanted to have. Once we generally agreed on a direction, we all made moodboards to visually express what we were looking for. With the moodboards and meetings with the Lead Designer, I created the Art Bible. This Art Bible was very thorough and helped the artists create assets but also motivated them! I maintained the Art Bible as a living document.
