Thalia Vanfin

Overview

Thalia has plenty of stories and a long past. She is one of few characters that has specific ex-partners and a branching timeline. Her stories cover several variations of One Piece canon as well, going over the manga, the anime, the games, the novelizations, or the live action whenever I please. Over all, she is seen the most as a bounty hunter that toys with her targets or an overly friendly bar owner.

Personality

Thalia is boisterous and fun loving, she makes for a very personable bar owner. While she's capable, she is prone to flights of fancy and she can flip on a dime when she's decided someone is worth hunting or another is not worth listening to. She's a skilled liar. She's viewed pretty neutrally in Water 7 and only covers up completely when she feels she isn't safe on other islands. She has a fondness for alcohol that often gets her into trouble. Piebald constantly chastises her for drinking all of their product in the bar.

History

Thalia was born on fishman island, her father was already a bounty hunter himself and decided to teach her how to fight. Her sister is an eel merwoman musician, kinda indie as of now, new on the scene. She rides the waves with her father when she turns 16 and helps him bounty hunt for 3 years before she gets the money needed to invest in a bar with her cousin and hunt bounties on her own. Through her bounty hunting she encounters lots of colorful characters and leads into various stories possible with the One Piece Universe.

• She was originally going to be related to a canon character.

• Originally she was going to be in a ragtag pirate gang on the hunt for a captain.

• Her name was accidentally used on another character for a while before I scrapped that story.

• Her name has no meaning in mind but wasn't generated.

Various Interactions:

• Keeps track of Caesar's heart while keeping him hostage for the Straw Hats. She gives him his heart back and sneaks away in the night after they screw.

• Has to work with Cipher Pol 0 for a bounty and ends up isolated with Lucci for a bit too long. Now has a thing for Zoan users and sharp teeth.

• Screws Smoker and Tashigi while they're at her bar for a Marine Festival.

• Was hired as a bartender for Crocodile's Casino and eventually "got to know him better".
