Story: Laguna goes to the last place she heard from Dia and finds herself falling into the Dark World. When she lands in Cyber City, she is on edge and not very friendly, slashing through people trying to find her missing friend. There's no sign of her and Laguna starts to feel like she may have lost her only friend... until she sees Dia fucking around with some kinda garbage gremlin. Laguna feels like she's going down a bad path and tries to cut in to protect her from the gremlin assuming he's manipulating her somehow. She's just as disappointed to hear what's actually happening though.
Original Story: A Prime Amalgamate created by Alphys to protect what remains of the monster population in the underground during the Ephemertale AU. It fell apart after the person who managed it decided not to do it anymore so Laguna lost her purpose and has undergone many many changes due to me forgetting what she looked like almost constantly. She is obviously no longer an Amalgamate but I like the melty aspect.
Cold and off-putting. She mostly sticks to herself and scares people off before they bother to get close to her. She prefers being alone because she can do what she likes then and not care about anyone else's opinion about it. With Dia, one of very few close people in her life, she can be protective and a bit aloof. She is more willing to compromise, but feelings beyond anger are hard for her to come to. Dia was helping her get in touch with her softer side when she disappeared.
Laguna has always lived in the town and stays with her Father until she finishes college. She is an only child and her kind has no need for 2 parents. She made friends with Dia in the "introvert adopted by an extrovert" way. Dia and Laguna would study together and spend off time together often, usually just hanging around in silence or playing games together rather than going out. When Dia starts taking weird days off and then vanishes altogether Laguna gets really worried and goes out to find her.
Laguna's name has changed so many times because I keep losing her info.
Her initial design was a lot meltier.
Name has no particular meaning intended. It's just my approximate memory of her original name.
