Fatei

Overview

He is a were-beast, turned into a shadow beast by Zant when he took over the kingdom and turns into his Twili form out in the daylight instead of melting into the shadows. He heavily favors the queen both as a prospective mate and because of her mercy towards them. He is careful to keep his temper around her, refusing to pounce if he can control it. 

Personality

Calm and thoughtful, when he has himself together. However, he has awful bouts of feral-ness and hostility, attacking anyone who talks poorly of his king and queen. He is very much in tune with his Id, pouncing on females as an alpha would in the spring and laying out in the sun, much like a reptile or a lion. His temptation is many and his self-control is very thin, he tries though. He really, really tries. When he was fully mortal he worked as a knight to the kingdom which is what caught him in the cross hairs of the changing magic. He hates the usurper, but the beast form makes him incredibly subservient to his master. 

History

Fatei was a loyal Twili guard in the service of Princess Midna in the Twilight Realm. His life was one of unwavering dedication to his people and their enigmatic ruler. As a guardian of the Twilight Realm, Fatei was known for his courage and sense of duty, serving to protect the realm from external threats and preserve its unique way of life.

However, Fatei's life took a dark turn when the malevolent Zant, driven by a lust for power, cursed him, transforming him into a twilit beast. His loyalty to Princess Midna was twisted into a cruel servitude to Zant's malevolent agenda. For a time, Fatei was forced to serve Zant as a mindless minion, carrying out the tyrant's dark bidding. He witnessed the Twilight Realm's descent into chaos and suffering, a stark contrast to the peace he had once sworn to uphold.
