Batt-Man ("the app") is a battery tracker published by Appsphere Group Co., Ltd. It helps you record which rechargeable batteries are in which device, and for how long. This policy explains what happens to your information.
The app has no account and no server. Everything you enter stays on your phone. The only information that leaves your device is collected by Google AdMob, which serves the banner advertisement.
All of the following is stored in a database and a folder on your phone. It is never uploaded, and we cannot see it:
Your batteries, their labels and their status.
Your devices, their locations and their battery-change dates.
Photos you take or choose for a device.
Your app settings and whether you have removed ads.
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, because we never receive it.
The app can write your data to a backup file. That file is created only when you ask for one, and it goes wherever you choose to save or send it. We do not receive a copy and have no access to it.
The app shows a banner advertisement using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Google collects and receives the following for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention and security:
Information
What it is
Approximate location
Your device's IP address, which Google may use to estimate a general location
App interactions
App launches, taps and advertisement views
Diagnostics
Technical information such as launch time, hang rate and energy usage
Device identifiers
The Android advertising ID and app set ID
This information is transmitted to Google and is encrypted in transit using TLS. It is required for the advertisement to work — the app has no setting to switch it off. Google's use of it is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android; Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS). Buying "Remove ads" stops the advertisement from being shown.
"Remove ads" is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payment details go to the store, never to us — we only receive confirmation that the purchase is valid.
The app does not ask for, collect or transmit your name, email address, phone number, contacts, calendar, precise location, files, health data or financial information. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
Batt-Man is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
