1. Introduction

Welcome to BattleQueens. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the BattleQueens iOS application (the "App").

We built BattleQueens as a puzzle game that respects your privacy. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles. We collect only what is strictly necessary to run the game and deliver its features.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Who We Are

BattleQueens is an indie iOS application developed and published by Ahmed Bouhamed ("we", "us", "our"). The App is available on the Apple App Store and is designed for iOS devices.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Guest Players (No Account Required)

You can play BattleQueens without creating an account. In guest mode, we collect:

• A local device identifier — a randomly generated UUID created on first launch, stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to us or any server.

• Puzzle and gameplay data — puzzles you have played, your solve times, hints used, difficulty preferences, and your solve history. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device in guest mode.

3.2 Signed-In Players (Game Center)

If you choose to sign in with Game Center, we additionally collect:

• Game Center player ID and display name — provided by Apple when you authenticate. We use this to identify your account and associate your scores.

• Solve records — your puzzle completions (puzzle ID, solve time, hints used, difficulty, date) uploaded to iCloud via Apple CloudKit to power leaderboards and sync your progress across your devices.

• Seen puzzle IDs and best times — stored in your private iCloud database so you never see the same puzzle twice across devices.

We do not receive your Apple ID, email address, or any billing information from Apple.

3.3 Advertising Data (Non-Premium Users Only)

BattleQueens displays interstitial ads between games for users who have not purchased a premium subscription. These ads are served by Google AdMob. AdMob may independently collect:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA)

• IP address

• Device type and operating system version

• Ad interaction data (impressions, taps)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

If you purchase a premium subscription, ads are completely disabled and AdMob is not active during your sessions.

You can limit ad tracking at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3.4 What We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicit about what we never collect:

• Your real name, email address, or phone number

• Your physical location or GPS data

• Your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone

• Your payment card number, billing address, or any financial information

• Cookies or web tracking identifiers

• Data from any other app on your device

• Behavioral profiles or data sold to third parties

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your local UUID and gameplay data solely to run the game on your device. For signed-in players, your CloudKit data is used to sync your progress  across devices and display your scores on leaderboards. Your Game Center display name and player ID are used to identify you on those leaderboards. Subscription status is verified through Apple to determine whether to show ads or unlock premium features. AdMob handles ad delivery for non-premium users independently. Apple's built-in crash reporting may capture anonymised diagnostic data to help us identify and fix issues — no personal data is included in these reports.

We do not use your data for marketing, do not share it with data brokers, and do not use it to train machine learning models.

5. iCloud and CloudKit

For signed-in players, BattleQueens uses Apple CloudKit to store and sync your data across devices.

Your private database — accessible only to you via your Apple ID — stores your seen puzzle IDs, personal best times, total solve count, and your player record. This data is not accessible to us.

Your public database entries — visible to all players — contain your Game Center display name, solve time, difficulty level, and puzzle ID, and are used to power in-app leaderboards.

All iCloud data is protected by Apple's security infrastructure and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

6. Game Center

When you sign in with Game Center, Apple handles authentication and provides BattleQueens with your Game Center player ID and display name only. We use this to identify your account within the App, submit your scores to Game Center leaderboards, and display your name and scores on in app leaderboards.

We do not receive your Apple ID, iCloud email, or any other account details. Game Center data is governed by Apple's Game Center Terms (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/gamecenter/).

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

BattleQueens offers optional premium subscriptions — monthly and yearly — processed entirely by Apple's App Store using StoreKit 2. When you initiate a purchase, Apple presents its own native payment sheet. We never see that screen or its contents. Apple then confirms to us only that a valid subscription exists or does not exist, and we unlock premium features accordingly.

We never receive, store, or process your payment method, billing address, transaction ID, or any financial details.

To manage or cancel your subscription, go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → BattleQueens.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only circumstances in which data is shared are:

• Apple — for authentication via Game Center, data sync via CloudKit, and purchase verification via the App Store. Apple's handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

• Google AdMob — for serving interstitial ads to non-premium users only. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.

No other third parties receive your data.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Local gameplay data is stored on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.

Private iCloud data is stored in your personal iCloud account. You can delete it at any time by going to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage  Storage → BattleQueens → Delete Data

Public leaderboard records are retained in the CloudKit public database to preserve fair and accurate rankings. To request removal of your leaderboard entries, contact us at ahmedbhd.labs@gmail.com.

AdMob data is stored on Google's servers and managed by Google. You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. For further data requests related to AdMob, contact Google directly.

10. Children's Privacy

BattleQueens is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at ahmedbhd.labs@gmail.com and we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access a copy of the data we hold about you, request deletion of your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request your data in a portable format, or opt out of personalised advertising through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Because most personal data in BattleQueens is stored in your own iCloud account and not on our servers, many deletion and access requests can be fulfilled directly by you through your iOS settings without needing to contact us.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Local data is protected by iOS app sandboxing. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. Your private iCloud database is accessible only via your Apple ID credentials. We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data — Apple's infrastructure handles all cloud storage.

No method of data storage or transmission is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data incident affecting information under our direct control, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

13. Third-Party Services

BattleQueens integrates the following third-party services:

• Apple Game Center is used for authentication and leaderboard score submission for signed-in users. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

• Apple CloudKit is used for data sync and leaderboard storage for signed-in users. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy  (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

• Apple StoreKit handles all in-app subscription purchases for all users. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy  (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

• Google AdMob serves interstitial ads for non-premium users only. It is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

14. International Users

BattleQueens is developed in Tunisia and distributed globally through the Apple App Store. If you are accessing the App from the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws such as GDPR, the same protections described in this policy apply to you.

We do not directly transfer your personal data to third countries. Data that flows through Apple and Google services is handled under their own respective compliance frameworks.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
