We have collected and extracted the images from various social media sites, as well as extracted some images from recorded cricket matches. Additionally, we have acquired images from photography websites and Youtube video frames. The images of various Cricket batting shot classes are labeled by keeping different categories of images in separate directories, and the directories are named in accordance with the cricket shots image. After collecting the data successfully, we named our prepared data the Cricket Batting Shots Image dataset (CBSId). In the batting shorts dataset, the actions have been performed by various batsmen under different poses. Thus the dataset is free from any biases. In our dataset, there are 7 categories of different cricket batting shots containing 2160 images in total. The batting shorts categories considered are Drive, Hook, Flick, Cut, Pullshot, Scoop and Sweep.

This database will only be used for Academic Research purpose, it is not for commercial use.
