The protection of your personal data is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected and stored by the Battery Manager App and how it is used. We comply with applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The party responsible for data processing in connection with the Battery Manager App is:

For the app to function properly, it requires access to certain system functions. Here we explain why these permissions are necessary:
(Permissions: QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES, PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS)
Purpose: The core function of the app is to analyze the energy consumption of installed applications in detail and provide you with transparency regarding battery usage and screen time.
Usage: The app requires access to the list of all installed packages in order to correctly attribute the percentage of power consumption to the respective apps. Without this permission, a complete analysis of consumption values is not possible.
Privacy: This data is processed and evaluated exclusively locally on your device. No lists of your installed apps are transmitted to our servers.
(Permission: WRITE_SETTINGS)
Purpose: Allows the app to automatically perform battery-saving measures.
Usage: Based on your settings in "Power Saving Mode", the app can reduce screen brightness and shorten the time until sleep mode (display timeout) to save battery.
(Permissions: FOREGROUND_SERVICE, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM)
Purpose: Real-time monitoring of battery status.
Usage: A background service monitors voltage, temperature, and charging current to warn you immediately, e.g., in case of "Battery Full", "Overheating", or "High Consumption". This ensures that alarms function even when the app is not open.
(Permissions: ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE, BLUETOOTH, NFC)
Purpose: Optimization of energy consumption.
Usage: Within the scope of "One-Click Optimization" or automated power-saving plans, the app can deactivate these hardware modules when they are not needed to extend runtime.
The app stores technical data regarding your battery history locally on the device:
Charge and discharge cycles (time, battery level, temperature, voltage).
Screen on/off statistics.
App usage history (for displaying consumers).
This data resides in a local database on your smartphone. It does not leave your device and can be removed by you at any time via the settings "Clear History".
To improve the app, fix bugs, and finance the free version, we use trusted service providers:
We collect anonymized usage data to understand which features are popular and how we can improve the app (e.g., crash frequency, device type, region). No personal data is transmitted that directly identifies you. More information can be found in the Privacy Policy of Google Analytics.
To improve stability, the app sends anonymized error reports in the event of a crash. These contain information such as device type, operating system version, and the time of the error. More about this in the Privacy Policy of Firebase Crashlytics.
In the free version of the app, advertisements are displayed. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to display personalized ads. You can restrict this in your device's Google settings. Further details can be found in the Privacy Policy of Google AdMob.
If you purchase the Premium version, payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not have access to your financial data (such as credit card numbers). We only receive confirmation that the purchase was successful to unlock the Premium features. Details are regulated by the Privacy Policy of Google.
We employ technical measures to protect your data. Since sensitive data (such as your app list and usage habits) is processed only locally, the risk of a data leak is minimized.
You have the right at any time to:
Information: What data do we store? (See above: locally stored history).
Deletion: You can delete the history and all local data directly in the app. Uninstalling the app will completely remove all data.
Revocation: You can revoke your consent to personalized advertising or analytics at any time in the app settings or system settings.
We reserve the right to adapt this declaration in the event of new functions or legal changes. The current version is always available in the app.
