Millennial generation is always referred to the term of ‘digital natives’. They are the batch who is being raised in digital age and has more contact with digital devices. Technology has become the core of competitive for this generations. The design concept of this motif is inspired by the binary language of 1 and 0. These 2 digits are important for coding and they are the fundamental elements which allow a computer to store information and perform calculations. By using the architectural element of rhythm, the number 1 and 0 are arranged adjacently in a ring pattern in the middle part. This is a metaphor of how a computer system is being formed and operates. When embracing technology in the manufacturing process, we achieve industrial revolution that brought bombastic development. However, as the development goes on, large scale of exploration has been created and depletion of natural resources has occurred. Designer brings in pattern of leaf branches out from the middle layer of the motif. The leaf pattern represents the nature resources in the Earth. It reminds people should strike a balance between conservation of nature and development. Relentless demand for the Earth’s resources should be controlled. In the outermost layer, designer uses shape similar to triangle. This shape resembles to the gable roof, which is a classic and most commonly seen roof structure in the whole world. It brings a meaning of home and belongings. Designer wish to convey the message that we could definitely create a better living environment once we utilize the technology that we own.
