Meet Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse From the most beautiful Iranian baths

In the corner of Kashan, there is a historic bath called Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse, named after Imam Zadeh (Imam Jawad's grandson). This historic bath is a unique example of Iranian baths and is unique in terms of architecture and decoration. This work, with an area of 1102 square meters, has been on the list of national works of Iran since March, 13th, 1351 with number 1351, and is an honor for Kashan city.

In the past, each city has five main elements, including a mosque, a bazaar, a house, a bath and a water reservoir. Accordingly, the Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse can be considered an important element of the city. According to the texts of the various historical periods, in all Islamic courses, there were many public baths in cities, which were comparable in terms of number and significance to the mosques.

Some believe that the current bath in the Qajar era and in 1292 AH (about 1254 solar) was built on the old bathhouse ruins and added a small bathroom to its collection.

Water from two wells is used for water supply between the different parts of the bathroom, and the colored glass called Geljiam is seen in the hole of the ceiling or the bathroom wall.

Sarabineh:

Most of the bathroom decorations are in Sarabineh. Beautiful stucco and official ceiling are part of this decorating. The walls of the Sarabineh are covered with mosaic tiles and the bottom of the Sarabineh and the platforms around it is a stone. The tiled section combined with the tiled interior dome creates a beautiful spit. This tile is considered as an underground tile, in which the tiles are adorned, there is glass glazing on them and their bake in the furnace.
