From his import entry;
A boy with a humble beginning and a memorable past, Bates is forever blessed to the abilities he was born with as well as a fate beyond his imagination with only the sky, the sea, and his body forcing his limits. Time and time again he has, and always will, test those very limits on his journey to find self worth and an idea of who he is. He has temporarily discarded his past and his name, instead donning a cloak to hide himself in his fresh attempt at a new identity and the future awaiting him.
His new goal is to find out where his fate will ultimately lead him while purposely steering himself on a path of uncharacteristic brutality as an effort to stay hidden from recognition as the once peaceful dusk coated Felvarg that roamed Ulfrheim in solitude. Disguised under the alias of 'Albatross', his original given name, Bates seeks to find solace in a land where his name is yet unknown: the island of Jormangundr. Lost, with very few connections, he strives to remain under this alias until he can find himself and the courage to brave the Hongerige back to his home of Ulfrheim.
His determination is as unending as his story, and rather than the dark that had loomed over his past, he wishes only to broaden his future and see all possibility of what he could truly be while remaining hidden in plain sight. His story is far from over.
