INDIGENOUS PEOPLE EDUCATION
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1906, s. 2009 entitled declaring the month of October of every year as National Indigenous Peoples Month, the Department of Education (DepEd) enjoins all its offices and schools to observe the said national celebrations through various commemorative and advocacy activities. For this year’s observance of the 2023 National Indigenous Peoples Month, the DepEd shall be guided by the theme “Pundasyon ng katutubong Edukasyon ay Patatagin, Katutubong Karunungan ay Patuloy na Pagyamanin.” This theme is aligned with the call MATATAG agenda to strengthen inclusive programs like the IPEd program. In line with the abovementioned theme, all teachers and IP learners of Batal Elementary School are hereby to support and be the participant of this celebration. Enclosed herewith are the program of activities, documenter and the tarpapel maker. A narrative and pictorial report should be accomplished and submitted to the division office.
As of my last update in January 2022, there isn't a specific Department of Education (DepEd) memorandum explicitly about "iPED." However, it's possible that "iPED" could refer to a specific program, initiative, or technology-related project within the context of the DepEd that may not have been included in my training data. If "iPED" refers to a recent program or initiative introduced after my last update, I would recommend checking the official DepEd website or contacting the DepEd directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information. They often publish memoranda, orders, and other official documents on their website for public access and transparency.
