Bishnu Bastakoti

Dr. Bastakoti was born in Gorkha, Nepal and obtained his BS and MS from Tribhuvan University. He pursued a PhD from Saga University, Japan as a Monbukagakusho scholar. Following this, he joined the National Institute for Materials Science as a JSPS Fellow. He studies the self-assembly of block copolymers and their application in the synthesis of porous inorganic materials. He has previously worked at the University of Sydney and Harvard University as a Research Associate before starting his independent career at NC A&T’s Department of Chemistry in August 2018. He is an editorial board member of Scientific Reports.
