If you want a professional, noise-isolating in-ear monitor designed for musicians and audiophiles who need absolute sound isolation in a quiet environment like a library, choose BASN Bmaster; if you need a powered desktop speaker system with a built-in USB hub to amplify your computer's audio without the hassle of extra cables, choose OR O R O W OROW USB Computer. These two devices serve fundamentally different purposes, yet both aim to solve the same core problem: how to get the best possible audio experience from your computer while maintaining focus. The decision isn't about which one is "better" in a vacuum, but rather which architecture fits your specific workflow in a shared space. One relies on direct acoustic isolation through physical design, while the other uses electronic amplification and signal processing to fill a room with clear sound. Understanding this distinction is the only way to make a choice that won't leave you frustrated when you try to use the product in a library setting where silence or controlled volume is paramount.
• BASN Bmaster: Its biggest strength is the triple-driver hybrid design that delivers deep bass and detailed mids with exceptional noise isolation up to 37 dB, making it ideal for focused listening; however, it requires a wired connection and does not have Bluetooth, which limits mobility. This pick is for the musician, podcaster, or student who needs to block out ambient noise completely.
• OR O R O W OROW USB Computer: Its biggest strength is the versatile single-cable USB connectivity that powers the speakers and includes a built-in USB hub, offering convenience for laptops with limited ports; its trade-off is that it is an open-back speaker system that will project sound into the room, which may disturb others in a quiet library. This pick is for the office worker or gamer who wants clear, amplified stereo sound directly from their desk without managing multiple wires.
The BASN Bmaster is engineered for people who treat audio as a precision tool rather than just background entertainment. At its core, this is an in-ear monitor (IEM) built around a hybrid driver configuration. You are looking at a system that combines dual dynamic drivers with a single balanced armature driver. This specific arrangement allows the device to handle the low-end frequencies with power while keeping the mid-range vocals and high-frequency details crisp and distinct. If you are someone who listens to complex music genres or monitors audio for work, this level of separation between instruments is what you need. The 10mm diaphragm inside the dynamic drivers is tuned to reproduce low bass ends flawlessly, giving you that cinematic depth that smaller earbuds often miss.
For a user in a library, the most critical feature here is the sound isolation capability. The BASN Bmaster can block up to 37 dB of external noise. This isn't just about the volume being loud enough to hear over a hum; it is about physically sealing the ear canal with memory foam tips to create a passive barrier against the world. In a library, where even the whisper of a page turn or the shuffle of feet can be distracting, this isolation allows you to immerse yourself entirely in your content. The ergonomic design ensures that these heavy-duty earbuds stay in place, whether you are moving around or sitting still for hours. The inclusion of memory wire in the over-ear style further secures the fit, ensuring that the cable remains out of the way and the earpiece doesn't slip during long sessions.

However, you must understand the constraints before buying. This is a strictly wired solution. It connects via a standard 3.5 mm jack and comes with two detachable cables: one silver-plated cable for pure audio and another with an HD mic for calls. There is no wireless technology embedded in the shell. If you are looking for the freedom of Bluetooth to move around the library without trailing a cord, this is not the right tool. Additionally, because it relies on a physical seal to block noise, it requires you to find the correct ear tip size from the twelve included pairs to achieve that 37 dB reduction. Once you find the perfect fit, the comfort is there for long-term wear, but the initial setup takes a moment of patience. It is also worth noting that the impedance is 18 ohms with a sensitivity of 97 dB, meaning it will drive easily from most phones or laptops, but it is optimized for direct monitoring rather than passive, casual listening.
This product is for the serious listener who values fidelity above all else. It is for the person who needs to hear every nuance in a recording or wants to ensure they aren't distracted by the environment. If you are a student trying to concentrate on a dense textbook while listening to a lecture, or a musician checking a mix on the go, the BASN Bmaster offers a professional-grade solution. It is not for someone who wants a "set it and forget it" speaker that sits on their desk; it is for someone who wants to carry a studio-quality experience in their pocket. The build quality, featuring a rugged enclosure and durable MMCX connectors, suggests this is a device meant to last through years of daily use, backed by a solid 12-month warranty that gives you confidence in the investment.
The OR O R O W OROW USB Computer speaker system is designed for the desktop user who prioritizes convenience and clear, room-filling sound. Unlike the isolated experience of the BASN Bmaster, this device is built to project audio outward. It features a 16-watt output capacity, which is substantial for a pair of compact desktop speakers. The goal here is to provide a Hi-Fi stereo experience that brings the warmth of life to your workspace without requiring a complex setup. The key innovation lies in its DSP (Digital Signal Processor) sound chip. This chip actively optimizes the audio signal to make human voices more delicate and trebles more layered. In practical terms, this means that when you are watching a video, listening to a podcast, or taking a call, the vocals will cut through clearly without sounding distorted or muddy, even at higher volumes.
For a library setting, the utility of this speaker is defined by its connectivity. The unit runs on a single USB cable, which provides both the electrical power and the audio signal. This eliminates the need for a separate power brick, reducing clutter on a shared desk. The cable is long enough to connect to the laptop and then daisy-chain to other devices if needed. Perhaps the most practical feature for modern computing environments is the built-in USB hub. If you are using a laptop with only one available port, this speaker expands that single port into two. You can plug in a mouse, a keyboard, or a flash drive directly into the speaker base while simultaneously getting audio. This makes it an excellent choice for users who are tight on ports and want a streamlined workstation. The inclusion of a USB-C to USB adapter ensures compatibility with newer laptops and tablets, so you don't need to hunt for dongles.
However, the nature of this device dictates where it can be used effectively. Because it is a speaker system designed to output sound into the air, it is not suitable for a strict silent zone unless you use the dedicated headphone jack. The system includes a volume knob on the right speaker, allowing for precise control over the output level. While the DSP helps manage distortion, sound waves will still travel. If you are in a library where absolute silence is required for others, this device might be too intrusive unless you keep the volume very low or switch to headphones plugged into the side jack. The frequency response extends up to 60 KHz, suggesting a wide range of audio capture, though the physical drivers are dynamic and designed for general multimedia use. The enclosure is made of plastic, which keeps the weight manageable at 2.2 pounds total, but it is not water-resistant, so it should stay on a dry desk.
This product is for the office worker, the gamer, or the student who needs a reliable, plug-and-play audio solution that enhances their digital experience without adding complexity. It is for the person who spends hours at a computer and wants a consistent, clear soundstage that doesn't require fiddling with settings. The fact that it supports multiple input devices, including gaming consoles and smartphones, makes it a versatile hub for entertainment. If you value the ability to quickly switch between working on your laptop and playing a game or listening to music without changing cables, this system excels. It is not for the person who needs to isolate themselves from the world; it is for the person who wants to bring the world into their personal space with clarity and ease. The 1-year limited warranty covers any manufacturing issues, providing peace of mind for a device that sees daily use.

In my opinion, if I were setting up a dedicated workspace in a library where silence is the primary requirement, I would choose the BASN Bmaster. The ability to block out 37 dB of ambient noise is a game-changer for concentration. The hybrid driver setup ensures that the audio I am consuming is rich and detailed, without any leakage that could disturb my neighbors. The wired nature is a small price to pay for that level of focus and the professional-grade sound isolation it provides. However, if my priority was simply having a clean, powerful speaker system for a home office or a private study room where I could control the volume, I would lean toward the OR O R O W OROW USB Computer for its incredible convenience and the added utility of the USB hub. But for the specific context of a library, where the environment demands discretion and isolation, the BASN Bmaster is the superior tool for the job.
No, neither product is a Bluetooth headset. The BASN Bmaster is a wired in-ear monitor, and the OR O R O W OROW is a wired USB speaker. Neither has wireless technology, so they rely on physical connections to your device.
