The exhibition presents the student works produced in MIM 344 Sketching in Architecture course conducted online in 2021-2021 Fall Semester. The course aimed to emphasize the importance of architectural sketching in design development process and architectural presentations; and to teach freehand one-point and two-point perspective drawing and rendering techniques. The students practiced freehand perspective drawing of the 3D objects, buildings and architectural spaces. They practiced rendering of texture, material characteristics and effect of light on surfaces using various rendering and sketching materials such as lead pencils, colored pencils, dry pastels and markers.
