The BASIL Research Lab works at the intersection of Biomedical Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Healthcare Analytics, with a focus on developing intelligent and robust healthcare solutions using physiological data.

Our research themes include EEG-based epileptic seizure prediction and detection, sleep research, emotion analysis using ECG signals, and wearable healthcare technologies. We are particularly interested in designing efficient machine learning and deep learning pipelines that can extract meaningful physiological patterns from biomedical signals and translate them into clinically relevant insights.

Our work combines biomedical signal processing, AI-driven modeling, and data-driven healthcare approaches to build reliable systems for early diagnosis, continuous monitoring, and personalized healthcare applications.
