Introduction

We're a group of runners who previously ran solely out of Beer Noveau, down Temperance Street, in the City Centre.

We were the Manchester chapter of the Mikkeller Running Club for many years previous. Due to a mixture of Beer Noveau closing down and Mikkeller not being a brand we want to continue being associated with, we decided to change our name.

The premise is the same, a social run followed by a few drinks amongst friends, catching up once a month with people who like both running and beer. Some of us are quite serious runners, some of us are there for the beer as much as the running...

The main change now is the lack of a permanent location, which is where the name comes from. Now the intention is to get around the city and surrounding areas as much as possible, visiting some of our favourite taps and running from a different place each month.

The general intention is to alternate between being in the City and in the surrounding suburbs of Greater Manchester. In the past 12 months we have met up in Prestwich, Chorlton and Stalybridge, we have intentions to also visit Stockport, Salford and others. We also will continue to spread ourselves across the City by doing different parts, whether that be Piccadilly, Deansgate, Ancoats, Oxford Road, etc.

A Google Calendar is embedded on the site but you can expect that we will consistently meet on the first Saturday of each month, at 12:00, with the intention to release details of the location and the running routes 2 weeks prior.
