Welcome to Barrington Youth Basketball

Welcome to the new website of Barrington Youth Basketball (BYB) !

We are the official basketball feeder program for Barrington High School (BHS) in Barrington, IL and are a non-profit and parent-run feeder program for boys residing in Barrington School District 220 in the Village of Barrington, Illinois and in neighboring communities. Our travel teams participate in feeder games against other local programs and in select area tournaments.

Our goal is to teach fundamental offensive and defensive basketball skills, along with team concepts, to better prepare our players for their future as a member of the Barrington High School basketball team. In 2018, we are among the first youth programs in Illinois to receive accreditation by USA Basketball, the national governing body for men's and women's basketball in the United States, and our overall basketball philosophy and direction is based on guidance provided by the BHS Basketball program.
