Understanding the 4 major barriers facing the Memphis census effort in 2020
In the map below, you will see each census tract color coded by zip code in Shelby county.
Each point is a census tract, and if you hover over a point, you will see the weight (expressed in percentage) that each barrier contributes to the difficulty of getting responses to the census.
In other words, you can see how much of a challenge Locating, Contacting, Persuading, and/or Interviewing is in each census tract.
Clicking on a zip code in the right margin of the map will allow you to isolate that zip code.
