Isles GM Lou Lamoriello announced today that the team has acquired Maple Leafs forward Pierre Engvall in exchange for the team's 3rd round pick in 2024.  

Engvall has 12 goals and 9 assists in 58 games this season. Engvall stands at 6 foot 5 inches and will provide skating and physicality for the Islander injury depleted bottom six. 

Engvall and Lamoriello have familiarity with each other from LL’s days in Toronto.  

Engvall is a UFA this summer.
