Elmont, NY- The NHL and Adidas have once again partnered to create the 2nd release of the Reverse Retro jerseys.

It has been highly rumored and speculated that the infamously controversial “Fisherman” jersey would makes its return to the Islanders wardrobe.

The Islanders Reverse Retro 2.0 version has appeared to have been leaked this evening with a splash of a Fisherman feel to it with the notorious logo making its way back onto the sweater.

The navy-blue primary color has been featured in previous Islanders decades and appears to return here.

The orange and white wave on the waist line is a blast back to the past of the Fisherman but with a more modern feel.

The lettering and font appear to be the same to the original Fishermen.

The official jersey will be released on October 20.
