Professor Ata received his Ph.D. in Operations, Information and Technology from Stanford GSB in 2003. He has been at Chicago Booth since 2013. Prior to that he was a faculty member at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is a problem-driven researcher, currently focusing on problems at the intersection of operations management and deep learning; see his CV for further details.
