Bareumdaero K-POP Helper helps users read Korean text, lyrics, and subtitles more easily by converting Korean text into easy-to-read pronunciation. The app may also provide subtitle capture, text recognition, translation, and study note features.
This app does not provide copyrighted lyrics by default. Users are responsible for using copyrighted content only within a lawful and personal-use scope.
1. Information We Collect
Bareumdaero K-POP Helper does not require account registration or login.
The app developer does not directly collect users’ names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location information, or YouTube login credentials.
However, this app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may automatically collect and share data such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, Android advertising ID, app set ID, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, app performance, security, and fraud prevention purposes.
2. Screen Capture, Text Recognition, Translation, and Study Notes
The app may use screen capture or image selection features only when the user chooses to use subtitle capture, image text recognition, or related app features.
Captured images and recognized text are used to provide app features such as text recognition, pronunciation conversion, translation, and study notes.
Google ML Kit processes text recognition, translation, and related input data on the user’s device. Images, text, and recognition results are not sent to Google servers by ML Kit. However, ML Kit may contact Google servers to receive model updates, bug fixes, and hardware compatibility information, and may send performance and usage metrics to Google to improve, maintain, debug, and protect the APIs.
Study notes, search history, and saved app data are stored locally on the user’s device. The app developer does not upload study notes, search history, or saved app data to a developer server.
3. YouTube-Related Features
The app may open or display YouTube-related content through WebView or YouTube-related playback/search features.
When users search for or open YouTube content, YouTube and Google may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies, including cookies or similar technologies.
This app does not request, collect, or store users’ YouTube login credentials.
