I am a PhD student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at Johns Hopkins University, advised by Prof. Vishal M. Patel.
My current research is on computer vision and natural language processing, with a specific focus on multimodal LLMs (reasoning, instruction tuning, hallucination), continual/active learning, large-scale data pruning, efficient training (prompting, token pruning, MoE), and out-of-distribution robustness.
I completed an internship in summer 2024 at the Honda Research Institute focusing on data-efficient instruction tuning for multimodal LLMs. (Mentor: Shao-Yuan Lo)
