Barcode Lab does not require account creation and does not collect any personal data via the internet.

All information generated within the app — including:

• Barcode scan history (content, type, timestamp)

• Generated barcode records

• User settings (theme preferences, display options)

is stored locally on your device using SQLite and SharedPreferences.
We do not send any data to external servers.

2. Permissions

Barcode Lab requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality:

• Camera — Required to scan barcodes in real-time

• Photo Library / Storage — Optional, used to scan barcodes from saved images or to save generated barcodes

We guarantee that:

• The camera is accessed only when you use the scan feature

• Your photos are accessed only when you choose an image

• No personal data is collected or transmitted

3. Data Sharing

Barcode Lab does not share, sell, or trade your information with any third parties.
All data remains entirely on your device, under your full control.

4. Data Management & Deletion

You can manage and delete your data at any time:

• View and manage all scan history within the app

• Delete individual barcode records

• Use the “Clear All History” option to remove all data from your device

Note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

5. Data Security

Data is securely stored using the local storage mechanisms of your operating system (Android/iOS).
Since Barcode Lab does not support cloud backups, we recommend manually exporting your data if needed.

6. In-App Purchases

Barcode Lab offers optional in-app purchases to support ongoing development.
All transactions are processed securely through the App Store or Google Play Store and comply with their respective privacy policies.
We do not collect or store any payment information.

7. Advertisements (Optional)

Barcode Lab may display non-personalized ads via Google AdMob.
These ads do not use your personal data for targeting purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The app may use the following services:

• Google Fonts – for typography (may download fonts on first use)

• Google AdMob – for optional advertisements

Each of these services has its own privacy policy, independent of Barcode Lab.

9. Children’s Privacy

Barcode Lab does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years old.
The app is designed for general audiences and does not specifically target children.
