But let me make this clear. I am not a fan of KathNiel. For the benefit of the uninitiated, KathNiel is the merging of the first names of one of the famous loveteams in our country today, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, talents of ABS-CBN.

Kmuse: Wow. This movie is a train ride of a romance. I will admit a secret, I HATE doppelganger tropes. There is something that I find so icky about a person falling in love with a copy of their first love. This trope has unhealthy baggage written all over it. That said, this was one of the more sincere and sweet doppelganger story arcs that I have watched. The slow burn and working through issues of our two leads made the romance seem more sincere. By the end, they had convinced me that Eli was not just replacing his dead fiancee with a look-a-like.

The supporting cast really showed that they are expert in what they are doing, just like the Kathniel. But I would like to give Joshua Garcia a special mention and a thumbs up. I was surprised that he could level up with these actors and actresses. He is the comedian in the cast and I love how smooth he interjects his jokes to a romance drama like this. Nevertheless, I view some of the actors with special participation are overacting, or if not, underacting.

1. Sexier and more mature Kathniel! Finally, help me welcome them to adulthood. The half naked Ely, played by Daniel Padilla, surely made the whole cinema growl. And I will always commend how beautiful Mia (Kathryn Bernardo) was with that hairstyle and well styled outfits to enhance her more mature role and to enduce her sex appeal. (The oversized bra cup and concealed-in-a-stylish-way legs, if you know what I mean..peace! I still love you, K)
