Research
My interdisciplinary research at the intersection of Business and Economics explores how taxes influence the decisions of businesses and individuals.
I study the effects of tax regimes on tax evasion, tax avoidance, and business investment behavior. I am especially interested in the consequences of tax transparency regimes (intended and unintended).
My work has been published in the Journal of Public Economics and the Journal of Accounting Research, amongst others.
