Barani Balan Natesan

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at School of Mathematics & Computer Sciences, Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu.

I received my PhD (Mathematics) from Bharathiar University (BU), Coimbatore, where I worked as guest faculty for few years. My doctoral degree work sits at the intersection of Mathematics and Biology and falls within the fields of Partial Differential Equations and inverse problems.

BU is quite a special place for me to work with my mentor and I enjoyed my time there immensely. I learned a lot from my colleagues about research and how to associate it with teaching. I even experienced mentoring few of my colleagues and students. Three years later it was time to move on, as I was selected for the temporary position followed by permanent one at CUTN and am working here thereafter.

I graduated with M.Sc., M.Phil. in Mathematics from BU and under graduation from Periyar University, Salem.
