Bar Prep Privacy Policy

Bar Prep is a beverage-service preparation and batching tool for bartenders and hospitality professionals. It does not require a Bar Prep account.

Information you enter and local storage

Recipes, ingredient amounts, prep plans, costs, venue preferences, production records, and settings you enter are stored on your device to provide the app's features. Bar Prep does not operate a server that receives this work data. If you choose to share or export information, the receiving app or person handles the copy you send.

Camera, files, and voice

Camera and file access are used only when you choose a photo or file feature. The bundled text-recognition component processes selected images on your device; Bar Prep does not upload those images to the developer. Voice entry uses the Android speech-recognition service available on your device. That service may process audio on-device or send it to its provider, according to the provider's privacy terms. Bar Prep receives recognized text and saves it only when you choose to keep it; Bar Prep does not intentionally store voice recordings.

Advertising, consent, and diagnostics

The free app can display Google AdMob ads. The Google Mobile Ads and consent SDKs may collect and share an IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions, performance and diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Google states that its ads SDK encrypts this data in transit. Where required, the app requests ad consent and offers ad privacy choices. A confirmed Bar Prep Pro purchase removes displayed ads; the ads SDK remains part of the app. Google's processing is described in its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Purchases

Google Play processes the optional one-time Pro purchase. Bar Prep receives the purchase status and information needed to unlock or restore Pro. The developer does not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Data control and deletion

You can delete Bar Prep's locally stored records by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling it. Doing so removes your local recipes and settings. Google manages data it receives through ads, purchases, or speech services under its own policies and privacy controls. Bar Prep has no cloud account to delete.

Food and beverage guidance

Shelf-life, preservation, batching, and preparation information is operational guidance. Follow venue-approved food-safety procedures, manufacturer instructions, and applicable health regulations.
