Winslow & Vassalboro B/A Program

It is the philosophy of The Before/After Program to provide children with the tools that they need in an after-school setting to develop into mature adults. We try to instill in each child a sense of high self-esteem while self-examining our methods to accomplish this. Daily activities are semi- structured with the child’s social, emotional, cognitive, cultural and motor skills in mind.

The mission of the program is to provide a quality, valuable community service offering a safe, flexible, affordable program for parents and guardians to place their children when they are away from home. An atmosphere is encouraged where children feel free to be themselves. This is accomplished by the creative ways the children are inspired to become active participants in their program. Children have an opportunity to participate in physical, social and creative skill building activities that they may not receive otherwise. Parents are asked to keep informed by reading program newsletters and participating where appropriate.
