Tree Pose is a standing balance posture that strengthens the legs, improves stability, and enhances focus.
How to Do It
Stand tall in Mountain Pose.
Shift your weight onto one foot.
Place the sole of the other foot on your inner ankle, calf, or thigh (avoid the knee).
Press your foot and leg into each other for stability.
Bring your hands to your heart or extend them overhead.
Hold for 5–10 breaths, then switch sides.
Variations
Beginner: Keep your toes on the floor with your heel at your ankle, or use a wall for support.
Classic: Foot on the inner calf or thigh with hands at your heart.
Advanced: Raise your arms overhead, try a half-lotus variation, or close your eyes for an extra balance challenge.
