In short: BannerMagic works entirely on your phone. It has no internet access, no accounts, no ads and no tracking. We never see, collect or share your photos or information.
What the app stores, and where
To make your banners, BannerMagic keeps the following only on your device, inside the app's private storage: your chosen state; the name, designation, phone number and photo you enter in "My details"; team members' names and photos you add; photos and stickers you pick for banners; "Your creations" (the banners you have saved or shared, so you can edit them again); and your creator journey (banner counts and badges) and which tips you have already seen. None of this leaves your phone unless you choose to share or save a banner.
No internet, no collection, no sharing
The app does not request the internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere. We do not collect personal data, usage analytics, crash reports, device identifiers or location. There are no third-party analytics or advertising tools in the app.
Sharing and saving
When you tap Share or WhatsApp, Android's share screen passes the finished banner image to the app you pick, and that app's privacy policy applies from then on. When you tap Save, the image is saved to your phone's gallery (Pictures/BannerMagic).
Permissions
Photos: chosen through Android's photo picker; the app only gets the photos you select.
Notifications (optional): a once-a-day reminder about festivals in your state. You can turn it off any time in Android settings.
Run in background / after restart: lets the daily reminder be scheduled, including after your phone restarts.
Storage (Android 8 and 9 only): needed to save banners to your gallery on those older versions.
Deleting your information
You can delete individual banners from "Your creations" and edit or clear your details at any time. Uninstalling BannerMagic, or clearing its data in Android settings, removes everything the app stored. Banners you saved to your gallery or shared stay where you put them.
Children
BannerMagic is a general-audience creative tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
