James was invited to help a friend move pool tables in 2008. When his friend accepted a new position with another company, James decided to continue this venture on his own and continued to place ads on Craigslist. James was contacted by the American Billiard Installers Association (ABIA) in 2016 and added shuffleboard table services per their request. James began working with his brother, Corey, in 2016. Ashley heard about James' work and approached him about creating a legitimate business in December 2017.

Together, the team brainstormed a business name and put together a brief business plan. They met with the local Chamber of Commerce and Iowa Small Business Development Center for more direction in the spring of 2018. Ashley helped James and Corey create the logo, develop business policies, implement professional forms and contracts, and establish an online presence through a website and social media accounts. In May 2019, the team filed paperwork with the state of Iowa to officially become BankHeadz LLC.

BankHeadz has added foosball, air hockey, poker, and blackjack tables to the list. We also offer custom design and setup of your dream game room!
