This policy covers the Bangtool Chrome extension, including page tools, BangCanvas, BangCut, BangThumb, bookmarks and optional browsing insights. The Korean policy follows the English policy below.
1. Information stored on your device
Tool settings, interface language, recent colors, palettes, captures, imported files and image, video and thumbnail projects are stored in Chrome on your device. Only files you choose are imported for editing. Editing and export are processed on your device. Categories, tags, goals and daily reflections contain information you enter. The extension also stores a generated device identifier and the device name you select to distinguish records and portable backups. Device identifiers are not used for advertising tracking.
2. Bookmarks and browsing insights
With your permission, bookmark tools read titles, full URLs and folders and manage them according to your actions. Saved groups and bookmark backups may contain these titles and full URLs. Browsing insights are off by default. When you enable recording and its required permissions, the extension records active Chrome tab time, visit totals by site and the usage patterns you select. For sites you designate, it may keep totals by page path. Usage records omit URL query parameters, fragments and page titles; saved bookmark URLs may still contain them. Incognito tabs and other applications are not analyzed. You can exclude sites, pause recording, delete records or export your data.
3. Page utilities
Capture, color picking, Picture-in-Picture and right-click tools operate on pages where you run them. Automatic site features and reverse YouTube playlist playback operate only on sites you allow. Reverse direction is remembered in the tab session. It does not change the playlist order in your YouTube account or send playlists to an external API. The extension does not capture protected video by bypassing protection.
4. Google account connection (optional)
Google account connection is optional; the basic tools work without signing in. Only when you choose "Connect Google account" and approve Google's consent screen does Bangtool use Chrome Identity and the drive.appdata scope to store and synchronize the data types you selected: saved bookmark groups and their edit/deletion records, per-PC Chrome bookmark snapshots (titles, URLs and folder paths), usage aggregates, categories, goals, reflections, and device identifiers and names. This data is sent directly from your browser to the hidden application-data folder of your own Google Drive over HTTPS; it does not pass through a developer server. Captures, images, videos and editing projects are never uploaded. Bangtool also reads the email address of the connected Google account from the Drive API and keeps it only on this device to show which account is connected; it is removed when you disconnect. Authentication is handled by Google; Bangtool never asks for your Google password and does not save OAuth access tokens in its own storage. Disconnecting revokes the access token and stops synchronization.
5. Storage, external communication and support
Bangtool does not operate a developer data server for your workspace and does not upload your browsing records or editing projects to Monty or Synapse Ent. Built-in translations, fonts and design assets are included in the extension. It does not send your text to an external translation service. Website links you choose to open communicate with their respective providers under their policies and normal browser behavior. Emailing admin@synapseent.com sends the contact details and message you choose to provide; these are used to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, authentication tokens or unnecessary private documents.
6. Limited Use
Bangtool uses and transfers user data only to provide its clearly described browser-toolbox features and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Any use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, use it for personalized advertising, determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility, or use your private content to train general-purpose AI models. We do not access your private records through a developer server. Support information voluntarily sent to us is accessed only to handle the request.
7. Retention, deletion and access withdrawal
Local data remains until you delete it or clear the relevant Chrome extension data. You can stop or pause usage recording and delete or back up records, projects, palettes and saved groups in their management screens. Changes to original Chrome bookmarks may synchronize according to your Chrome settings. Files you export or download are managed separately by you. Removing the extension or clearing browser data can remove local work, so export needed files first. Disconnecting Google or uninstalling the extension does not automatically delete local data or the copies stored in your Google Drive. You can delete another PC's stored copy from the Account and data screen, revoke Bangtool's access in your Google account, and delete Bangtool's hidden application data in Google Drive settings (Manage apps). 8. Security and changes
Local workspace and usage data do not have separate end-to-end encryption. Anyone who can access your device and Chrome profile may be able to read them; protect both. Google transfers use HTTPS. This policy's effective date will be updated when data practices change, and new purposes or permissions will be disclosed and consent requested where required. 본 방침은 빵툴 Chrome 확장프로그램의 페이지 도구, 빵캔버스, 빵컷, 빵썸, 북마크와 선택 사용 분석에 적용됩니다.
1. 기기에 보관하는 정보
도구 설정, 표시 언어, 최근 색, 팔레트, 캡처, 가져온 파일과 이미지·영상·썸네일 프로젝트는 현재 기기의 Chrome 저장 공간에 보관합니다. 사용자가 선택한 파일만 가져오며 편집과 출력은 사용자 기기에서 처리합니다. 분류·태그·목표·하루 회고에는 직접 입력한 내용이 포함됩니다. 기록과 이전용 보관본을 구분하기 위한 무작위 기기 식별자와 사용자가 정한 기기 이름도 저장합니다. 기기 식별자를 광고 추적에 사용하지 않습니다.
2. 북마크와 사용 분석
북마크 권한을 허용하면 제목·전체 주소·폴더를 읽고 사용자의 조작에 따라 관리합니다. 저장 그룹과 보관본에 제목과 전체 주소가 포함될 수 있습니다. 사용 분석은 기본으로 꺼져 있습니다. 사용자가 켜고 필요한 권한을 허용하면 활성 Chrome 탭의 사이트별 시간·방문 합계와 선택한 패턴을 기록합니다. 지정한 사이트는 페이지 경로별 합계를 보관할 수 있습니다. 분석 기록은 주소의 검색 매개변수·해시·페이지 제목을 제외하지만 북마크의 전체 주소에는 이 정보가 포함될 수 있습니다. 시크릿 탭과 다른 프로그램은 분석하지 않습니다. 사이트를 제외하거나 기록을 일시 중지하고, 자료를 삭제하거나 내보낼 수 있습니다.
3. 페이지 도구
캡처·컬러 픽커·PiP·우클릭 도구는 사용자가 실행한 페이지에서 작동합니다. 자동 적용과 YouTube 역순 재생은 허용한 사이트에서만 작동합니다. 역순 방향은 해당 탭의 세션에 기억하며, Google 계정의 재생목록 순서를 수정하거나 목록을 외부 API로 보내지 않습니다. 보호를 우회해 보호된 영상을 캡처하지 않습니다.
4. Google 계정 연결(선택)
Google 계정 연결은 선택 기능이며 기본 도구는 로그인 없이 사용할 수 있습니다. 사용자가 "Google 계정 연결"을 누르고 Google 승인 화면에서 직접 허용한 경우에만, 빵툴은 Chrome Identity와 drive.appdata 범위를 사용해 사용자가 고른 자료를 보관·동기화합니다. 대상은 저장 그룹과 그 수정·삭제 기록, PC별 Chrome 북마크 보관본(제목·주소·폴더 경로), 분석 합계, 분류·목표·회고, 기기 식별자와 이름입니다. 이 자료는 개발자 서버를 거치지 않고 브라우저에서 본인 Google Drive의 숨겨진 앱 전용 공간으로 HTTPS를 통해 직접 전송됩니다. 캡처·이미지·영상·편집 프로젝트는 올리지 않습니다. 또한 연결된 계정을 화면에 표시하기 위해 Drive API에서 Google 계정 이메일 주소를 읽어 이 기기에만 저장하며, 연결을 해제하면 지웁니다. 인증은 Google이 담당하며 빵툴은 Google 비밀번호를 요청하지 않고 OAuth 인증 토큰을 자체 저장소에 저장하지 않습니다. 연결을 해제하면 인증 토큰을 철회하고 동기화를 멈춥니다.
5. 외부 통신과 문의
빵툴은 사용자의 작업을 위한 개발자 자료 서버를 운영하지 않으며 탐색 기록과 편집 프로젝트를 Monty 또는 Synapse Ent로 업로드하지 않습니다. 번역·내장 글꼴·디자인 자료는 확장프로그램에 포함되고, 외부 번역 서비스에 글자를 보내지 않습니다. 사용자가 연 웹사이트는 일반 브라우저 동작에 따라 해당 제공자와 통신하며 각 서비스의 방침이 적용됩니다. 이메일 문의를 보내면 직접 제공한 연락처와 내용을 받으며 문의 대응에 사용합니다. 비밀번호·인증 토큰이나 불필요한 비공개 문서를 보내지 마세요.
6. 제한적 사용
사용자 데이터는 명확히 설명한 브라우저 도구함 기능 제공에만 사용·전송하며 Chrome 웹 스토어 사용자 데이터 정책의 제한적 사용 요건을 준수합니다. Google API에서 받은 정보의 사용·전송은 Google API Services User Data Policy의 제한적 사용 요건을 따릅니다. 데이터를 판매하거나 맞춤 광고, 신용도·대출 판단, 범용 AI 모델 학습에 사용하지 않습니다. 개발자 서버에서 비공개 기록을 열람하지 않습니다. 자발적으로 보낸 문의 자료는 문의 처리 목적으로만 접근합니다.
7. 보관·삭제·접근 철회
로컬 자료는 사용자가 삭제하거나 해당 Chrome 확장프로그램 데이터를 지울 때까지 남습니다. 사용 분석을 끄거나 일시 중지해 새 수집을 중단하고 관리 화면에서 기록·프로젝트·팔레트·저장 그룹을 삭제하거나 백업할 수 있습니다. Chrome 원본 북마크 수정은 Chrome 동기화 설정에 따라 다른 기기에 반영될 수 있습니다. 다운로드·내보낸 파일은 사용자가 별도로 관리합니다. 확장프로그램 제거와 브라우저 데이터 삭제로 작업이 없어질 수 있으므로 필요한 파일을 먼저 내보내세요. Google 연결 해제나 확장 제거만으로 PC 자료와 Google 보관본은 자동 삭제되지 않습니다. 계정과 데이터 화면에서 다른 PC의 보관본을 삭제할 수 있고, Google 계정에서 빵툴의 접근을 철회하며, Google Drive 설정의 앱 관리에서 빵툴의 숨겨진 앱 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다. 문의 이메일은 문의 처리와 적용되는 기록 보존 의무에 필요한 기간만 보관하며 직접 보낸 정보에 관한 요청은 admin@synapseent.com으로 연락할 수 있습니다.
8. 보안과 변경 안내
