Kit Lists for Caving

Day Trips

Required kit:

  • A full change of clothes including underwear

  • Warm layers for under your oversuit - no jeans!

  • A towel

  • A bag you can put your wet clothes in after

  • Wellies + socks

  • Personal caving kit E.g Wetsocks and knee pads if you have them (don't worry if you don't)


Away trips

Required kit:

  • A full set of warm clothing to wear when caving under your over suit

  • Warm clothes to change into

  • Wellies

  • Personal caving kit E.g Wetsocks and knee pads if you have them (don't worry if you don't)

  • A towel

  • Toiletries

  • A bag you can put your wet clothes in

  • Sleeping bag

  • Pillow

  • Alcohol (if you want to drink)

  • Personal cave and hut snacks
