This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of AI Wedding Band Designer ("We", "Us", or "Our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how your data is handled, especially concerning our use of third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.
When you use our App to design wedding bands or chat with the AI assistant, we collect the following information:
Design Parameters: The selections you make within the App (e.g., ring style, material, finish, stone type).
Text Input (Prompts): Any custom text, engraving details, or chat messages you manually type into the App to describe your desired ring design.
We do NOT collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or location data.
We collect this data directly from you when you actively use the App, make selections in the design wizard, or type messages into the AI chat interface. We do not use background tracking or secret data collection methods.
The data we collect is used strictly for the core functionality of the App:
To process your design parameters and text prompts.
To generate the customized visual representations (images) of the wedding bands you requested.
To provide conversational responses via the AI chat assistant regarding jewelry design.
We do not use your text inputs or design parameters for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
To generate the high-quality images and provide the chat assistant features, the App must send your design parameters and text inputs to external third-party Artificial Intelligence providers.
Before any data is generated or transmitted, the App will explicitly ask for your permission. Once granted, your inputs are transmitted securely to the following specific third parties:
OpenAI, L.L.C.: Used to process your text inputs, improve prompts, and power the AI chat assistant.
Replicate Inc. (and Black Forest Labs): Used to render and generate the final image of the ring based on your parameters.
Confirmation of Equal Protection: We strictly vet our partners. We confirm that any third-party AI service provider the App shares your data with provides the same or equal protection of user data as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Furthermore, data sent to these enterprise APIs is not used by these providers to train their public AI models, ensuring your custom inputs remain private.
As required by our commitment to transparency, the App will explicitly disclose what data will be sent and specify who the data is sent to (OpenAI and Replicate) via an in-app prompt. We strictly obtain the user’s explicit permission before sending any data to these third-party services. If you do not consent, the data will not be transmitted, and the AI generation features will not operate.
Because we do not require account creation, we do not store your data on our personal servers. The images and texts generated are stored locally on your device. Data transmitted to our third-party AI providers is processed temporarily to return the generated image/text to you and is then deleted from their active processing servers in accordance with their strict data retention policies.
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
